Day Owl is a sustainable backpack company that makes the essential products for your everyday carry. We are building the first completely circular bag company. We build our products from recycled landfill-bound materials and repair and refurbish them to keep them in circulation for multiple owners.

Amber Vittoria is one of our favorite artists. We like to think her work is a little like our bags-a minimal aesthetic with an emphasis on simplicity and color. Her ribbons of color work is SO cool, so we just had to ask her to design a patch. We’re so grateful she said yes. Here’s what she had to say about the patch:  “It’s called ‘The Joys You Take With You,’ which for me, usually means art supplies, my camera, and snacks. I hope this patch encourages folks to add more decor to the items they use in their daily life, sharing their spark and their joy on the outside as well as the inside.”
